Welcome to my homepage!
About me:
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof Alexandre Ern at Centre Inria de Paris (Team-SERENA) and ENPC (CERMICS lab), Paris, France. I am a laureate of the MathInGreaterParis fellowship programme, co-funded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions. Under this programme, I am also visiting Prof Erik Burman at University College London, United Kingdom.
Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Prof Ricardo Ruiz-Baier's research group at the School of Mathematics, Monash University, Australia. I am externally cosupervising a PhD student Andres E Martinez at Monash University (jointly with Prof Ricardo Ruiz-Baier). I was also a postdoc at IIT Bombay for a short period, working with Prof Neela Nataraj.
I earned my PhD at IIT Bombay under the guidance of Prof Amiya Kumar Pani (currently at Bits Pilani Goa) and Prof Carsten Carstensen (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin Germany) on the topic "Nonconforming virtual element methods for linear elliptic boundary value problems". I have completed MSc Mathematics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and BSc Mathematics from Fergusson College Pune.
Research interests:
Finite element methods for PDEs
Polytopal discretization methods, mainly virtual element Methods
and hybrid high-order methods
Plate problems (Kirchhoff plate, Poroelastic plate, etc.)
Multiphysics problems
Wave propagation problems
